My radio career began in the early 1980s firstly working on our local radio station in Inverness, I was 12 and I had to go out and find interesting interviews, I was gobby from an early age! I sung loads, I played in loads of bands, but my radio career reared its head again and I started back with our local radio station, I shifted to a few others and had been with Real Radio In Glasgow for a few years. My other half is Durham born & bred and suggested we should move to the North East and the rest is history. P.S. I touched the Angel of the North for good luck, I think it works!
