Why should listeners tune in to your show? – It’s like driving home with an old friend to keep you company – you know, the one with the brilliant record collection!!
How did you get into radio? – Radio Nene Valley, hospital radio in my home town of Northampton
What’s the best thing about working for smooth radio? – you don’t call this work do you? Sitting here playing music and chatting to celebrities; yes that’s tough!
What do you do while the songs are playing? – Drink tea, eat chocolate, sing and play air-guitar
If you weren’t a DJ, what do you think you would be doing? – something in IT
If a film was made of your life which actor should play you? –My wife says Richard Gere, but only if she can play herself!
What’s your favourite decade and why? – late 70s and 80s. They remind me of my first few exciting years in radio!
What’s the worst single you ever bought? – The Tweets and the ‘Birdie Song’!!
